In this episode Nana speaks with Louise Reynolds, a Surrey-based landlord with investment property in the UK and Poland. She had a wealth of business experience before she set up her boutique property investment firm Property Venture® which helps time-strapped ex-pats and other distance investors, who don’t have the capacity or local presence to buy property in the UK, in the right way for them.
Louise also knows about buying abroad in Continental Europe. She is an Advisory Board Member of the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) and gets quoted regularly in the National (Sunday Times, Telegraph, Guardian) and Trade press giving commentary on her focus markets of UK, Poland, Spain, and France.
She loves doing deals but also puts in the preparation beforehand to check everything out. She is currently presenting about Distance Due Diligence on the property networking circuit, and it is this, that is the focus of this podcast episode.
She talks about how she got started investing, which unusually, was abroad before investing in the UK, as well as her tools, techniques and tips when conducting Due Diligence from afar.
It is particularly interesting to hear how she seeks to de-risk property investing, both for herself and her distance investing clients. She aims to help others make informed property buying decisions so that they remain on course to achieve their wealth-building objectives
